I attended Kopikon and talked a little about the Interlace Alphabet , among other things. If there are going to have pirates speaking Kēlen, then I need a word for pirate. maþālōn can also be used to refer to kidnappers and thieves, since the root -þāl- means seize, take, capture. la liēn λi maþālōn malūta Ropertes; wa mammārenien rēha; I am the Dread Pirate Roberts. Posted on September 12, 2019 October 17, 2022 Talking Rock in a Funlang This is a new, unnamed funlang. It is an experiment in topic – comment with only intransitive predicates. So each full sentence is only two words and two words only. Pronouns include one that refers to the topic of the previous sentence (SAME) and one that refers to the comment of the previous sentence (COMMENT). It might even be non-recursive, but not being a theoretician, I won’t swear to that....
